Poverty strategy: Lawmakers call for adequate funding in the MFF

Members of the European Parliament from several political groups expressed support for Social Affairs Commissioner Roxana Mînzatu’s plans to combat poverty through a strategy extending to 2050. They called for sufficient funding to be allocated for this purpose in the new Multiannual Financial Framework.
