Senegal: Tightening of anti-LGBTQI legislation planned

Senegal plans to significantly tighten its anti-LGBTQI legislation, introducing prison sentences of up to 10 years. Experts believe the government is also using the initiative to divert attention from mounting social and economic challenges.
