Climate risks: Scientific advisers call for stronger EU adaptation strategy

The European Union’s scientific advisory board warns that, without adequate adaptation, escalating climate risks could “undermine the EU’s economic and social foundations.” The researchers are calling for a more systematic and better coordinated approach to preparedness among member states.
