KTF: German coalition government’s decision on CO₂ pricing creates multibillion-euro shortfall

Germany’s coalition government will keep the CO₂ price in the national Emissions Trading System within a €55 to €65 range in 2027. This is expected to leave a multibillion-euro gap in the Climate and Transformation Fund’s (KTF) projected revenue.
