Committee on Budgetary Control: Andreas Schwab assumes chairpersonship from Niclas Herbst

Following his election as chair of the CDU/CSU group in the European Parliament, Niclas Herbst is giving up his chairpersonship of the Committee on Budgetary Control (CONT). His party colleague Andreas Schwab is set to take over.
