Bulgaria: One step closer to the eurozone.

While citizens in Bulgaria are protesting against the introduction of the euro, the EU has given its approval for the member state to join the eurozone. If the EU finance ministers give their approval in July, the country can join the eurozone at the beginning of 2026.
