Rule of law in the EU: expectations vs. reality

In its third Rule of Law Report, the EU Commission again rebukes Hungary and Poland. Germany could also do more, for example, in the area of lobby transparency. However, the Brussels authority does not always live up to its own high standards. The European Parliament is now calling for consequences.

Germany remains dependent on Chinese raw materials
