Global Witness: Where the fight for the environment is particularly dangerous

According to the human rights organization Global Witness, at least 196 people were killed worldwide last year because they were working to protect the environment. Most of the murders took place in Colombia. In industrialized countries, the pressure on activists is increasing due to laws and legal proceedings.
