German technology for Geely's EV plans

Geely wants to develop the software required for smart cars with its subsidiary EcarX - and have the corresponding chips manufactured to match. Parts of the technology come from a hidden champion in Germany. EcarX will go into mass production this year with China's first 7-nanometer chip designed for use in cars.
