€180 billion: Germany’s defense budget growing far more rapidly than planned

The Greens are warning against the government’s planned sharp increase in defense spending through 2030, saying adequate oversight will be nearly impossible and that the Bundeswehr is no longer setting clear priorities given the amount of money available.
