Third Plenum: Chinese economists expect these reforms
The Second Plenum of the current Central Committee of the CCP in February 2023. No plenary session of the CC has been held since then – until now.
Chinese economists advocate more demand-side policy and, thus, more consumption. This is in contrast to the previous policy of ever-increasing investment.
The long-awaited Third Plenum of the current 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China is just around the corner. It traditionally sets the economic policy course for the next five years.
