The Swiss National Council is calling for greater commitment on the part of Switzerland to human rights in China. This requires more human resources and a better range of advisory services for companies, according to a resolution adopted on Tuesday. The foreign policy committee’s resolution was adopted by 106 votes to 81. “Serious human rights violations in China are a fact that we cannot ignore,” said commission member Roland Fischer, according to media reports.
