Putin and Xi plan talks in late December

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and China’s leader Xi Jinping continue to maintain contact. Both want to meet at the end of December for a round of talks. This was reported by the Russian business daily Vedomosti on Tuesday. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the date and agenda of the meeting are already known, but an official announcement will be made later. The two leaders are “in constant communication,” Peskov added.
