Nato chief Stoltenberg: China does not share “our values”.

Shortly before the Nato summit Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and US President Joe Biden have agreed on their stance towards China. The leadership in Beijing does not “share our values”, Stoltenberg said after a meeting with Biden in Washington, according to media reports. This can be seen in the way China is putting down democratic protests in Hong Kong and how it treats minorities or puts pressure on its neighbours, the Nato secretary-general said. China is also threatening Taiwan, Stoltenberg said.
