Jost Werke, the listed commercial vehicle supplier based in Neu-Isenburg, almost doubled its sales in the Asia-Pacific and Africa region in the first quarter of 2021 compared to the previous year. Sales rose from 24 to 46 million euros. The China business accounts for a good half of this. As the company told China.Table, this big jump is mainly due to the reopening of the plant in Wuhan, which was closed last year due to the pandemic. By comparison, sales in the third quarter of 2020 amounted to 38 million euros.
