Former Secretary of State Miguel Berger is to become the new German ambassador to China. This was reported to China.Table from political circles in Berlin. He succeeds Jan Hecker, who unexpectedly passed away in September (China.Table reported). The Federal Cabinet, i.e. the round of all ministers, is responsible for filling ambassadorial posts.
