Didi launches successfully at stock market

Ride-hailing service Didi Chuxing made a successful debut on the Nasdaq technology exchange in New York on Wednesday. The company earned 4.4 billion dollars. Its market capitalization was just under $68 billion at the close of trading. Didi’s IPO is the second-largest by a Chinese company in the US. Online giant Alibaba had raised $25 billion in its US IPO in 2014. The anchor investors include Morgan Stanley and Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund Temasek.
