China’s reputation is declining rapidly

These days, China has a much worse reputation in many countries than it did just a few years ago. This is the result of a study by the American opinion research institute Pew Research Center. The study covers the period from 2002 to 2022. According to the study, the image of the People’s Republic deteriorated steadily in many surveyed countries between 2002 and 2017. A significant increase in the negative assessment can be observed in 2019 and 2020.
