BYD enters Norway with Electric Passenger Cars

After start-ups Xpeng and Nio, China’s electric pioneer BYD is now also starting to sell e-cars in Norway. 100 models of the Tang electric sports utility vehicle were shipped to Norway from Shanghai on Monday, BYD said. This marks its entry into the European e-car business, the company said. BYD has already been successfully selling electric buses for public transport in Europe for several years.
